George Mason University (GMU)
Ms. Katherine (Kat) Sirotin - Director of Purchasing & Fiscal Services in Facilities
She manages all Construction, Professional Services and Facilities Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) contracting, procurement and accounts payable responsibilities for George Mason University’s Facilities Department. She directly supervises three (3) contracts managers, two (2) MRO Buyers, and two (2) Accounts Payable staff.
Kat holds the following certifications: Certified University Procurement Officer (CUPO), Virginia Contracting Officer (VCO), and Virginia Construction Contracting Officer (VCCO).

Adam Aaronsen, LEED AP - Assistant Vice President, Construction Management
and Campus Planning
Adam has been with GW since 2006 and is responsible for all campus planning and construction activities across GW's campuses, including both capital and non-capital projects.
Adam earned his MBA in Real Estate from GW, as well as a BS in Biology from The College of William and Mary. He is a LEED AP.

Bill Olen, P.E. - Executive Director of Planning & Construction
UMD Service Center
Over thirty years of experience and documented success in facility planning, design, and construction management.
Providing executive leadership to six units in the Department of Planning & Construction; which has a combined workforce of 120 professional employees.
Director of the College Park Service Center which manages the design and construction of projects greater than one million dollars at seven of the eleven institutions in the University System of Maryland (USM).
Chair of the university’s Architectural and Landscape Review Board (ALRB) which is comprised of industry professionals and university staff who review new projects or modifications to existing buildings at the flagship campus.
The department’s current workload exceeds 2.8 billion dollars.
