Matt Reiffer - Vice President, Infrastructure Programs
ACEC National
Matt Reiffer is the Vice President of Infrastructure Programs for ACEC. He is the association’s primary lobbyist on all federal transportation issues, including roads and bridges, aviation, rail, and transit matters before Congress and the Administration. In his role he also oversees the Council’s infrastructure advocacy agenda, including energy, environment, and water infrastructure issues. Prior to joining ACEC in 2008, Matt served for six years as the Legislative Director and Counsel for Congressman Vern Ehlers of Michigan, a senior member of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee. He received his undergraduate degree from Calvin (College) University and a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School.

Chris Laskowski - Committee Director
Office of DC Councilmember Charles Allen, Chair of the Committee on Transportation and Environment
Chris Laskowski is Councilmember Charles Allen's Committee Director for the DC Council Committee on Transportation and the Environment. He has been with Councilmember Charles Allen since 2017, previously as Legislative Director, covering a broad range of issues from transportation and environment to education to small business and taxation, as well as staffing the Councilmember in his regional roles on the Transportation Planning Board and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments. Previously, Chris was a Project Director at the DC Appleseed Center for Law and Justice, working on issues from D.C. voting rights to Anacostia River restoration to HIV/AIDS policy. Chris has also served as an environmental policy analyst at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow and a third grade teacher in the Baltimore City Public School System. Chris is a graduate of the George Washington University Law School, the Johns Hopkins University School of Education, and the University of Michigan.

Rory Murray - Federal, State & Local Lobbyist
Providence Strategies
Rory Murray is a native of the Philadelphia area and moved to Maryland in 2007. Rory served in the United States Marine Corps from 2003 – 2007, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Following his time in the Marine Corps, he served as a Maryland State Trooper from 2008-2011. Rory has an associate’s degree from Frederick Community College, bachelor's degree in political science from Towson University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law. Upon graduating from law school, Rory worked at a big Annapolis lobbying firm for three years before serving MD|DC Credit Union Association as Vice President of Advocacy for three years and later joining Providence Strategies. He is married to Emilie, has three young children, and a dog named Maddie.
