ACEC/MW Reciprocal Membership

Qualifications for ACEC/MD and/or ACEC/VA Reciprocal Membership with ACEC/MW

A firm that is a current member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Maryland or the American Council of Engineering Companies of Virginia may join ACEC/MW as a Reciprocal Member Firm subject to all of the following conditions:
  • The firm meets all of the requirements for membership as stated in the ACEC/MW Bylaws, and
  • The firm does not have an office in Prince Georges or Montgomery Counties in Maryland; and/or
  • The firm does not have an office in Arlington or Fairfax Counties, or Alexandria City.
ACEC/MW Reciprocal Member dues will be fifty percent (50%) of the firm’s current index number per the ACEC/MW Dues Chart, not to exceed $1,000.

If a firm is a current member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Maryland or the American Council of Engineering Companies of Virginia and does have an office in Arlington, Fairfax, Montgomery, or Prince Georges counties or in Alexandria City, or in Washington DC, then the firm must apply for full ACEC/MW membership status.
