ACEC/MW Scholarships




ACEC/MW is proud to renew our Student Scholarship Program.  We will award four (4) academic scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year in the amount of $4,000 each.

Eligibility:

  • College students must be entering their junior, senior, fifth, or master's degree year in the fall of 2026.  
  • The student must also be a U.S. citizen pursuing an ABET accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (includes geomatic engineering/land-surveying).
  • The student must be connected to the Washington Metropolitan Area through EITHER:
    • Attendance at one of the following institutions during the 2026-2027 academic year: Catholic University, George Mason University, George Washington University, Howard University, Johns Hopkins University, University of the District of Columbia, University of Maryland, Virginia Tech, University of Virginia, OR
    •   Have a home address within the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.
      • The Washington, DC Metropolitan Area will be defined as:
        • The District of Columbia
        • In Maryland: Prince George's County or Montgomery County
        • In Virginia: Arlington County, Fairfax County, Loudoun County, Prince William County (and all cities and towns therein)
