ACEC/MW is the voice of Metropolitan Washington’s Engineering Community

ACEC/MW was founded in 1958 to serve the business needs of its professional member firms, and is the local member-organization of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).

Currently ACEC/MW’s membership comprises over 110 consulting engineering firms with 5,300 employees. ACEC/MW covers the following geographic areas: Washington DC; Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties in Maryland; and Northern Virginia.

 

Is Your Firm Eligible for Membership?

We have 2 types of members:

1) Full Members: Consulting Engineering Firms that

a) regularly engage in the practice of engineering,
b) have an office within our jurisdiction, AND
c) have at least one Professional Engineer (PE) in a leadership position

2) Affiliate Members: Not engineering companies, but companies that engage in services that support engineering firms (example: law firm, insurance provider, contractors, architects).  Affiliate Membership is $1,000 per year.
