Mission

Promote the business interests of small engineering companies.  Any employee of an ACEC/MW member firm may join the committee regardless of firm size.

Our definition of “small business” is broad and inclusive – designations and certifications vary by agency and jurisdiction. They
may include Small, Disadvantaged, Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Veteran-Owned, among others.

We are actively engaged with major DC area agencies, including DC Water, WMATA, DDOT, and Prince George’s County, often in
coordination with other ACEC/MW committees, to represent and forward our members’ interests.

How to Join

The ACEC/MW Small Business Committee is open to all employees of our member firms.  The Committee typically meets monthly for about an hour.
